Being a doctor, I am so guilty of prescribing Avandia medicine to heart patients. Many of them called me saying that they are scared to death. All I could do was console them. My wife suggested that I should guide my patients to take legal action against the manufacturers for Avandia heart failure. Some of the patient’s relatives stated that they lost their loved one – all thanks to my prescription. I felt really bad and I somehow managed to explain my side of the story. I also told me about the lawsuit passed so that people like them can file lawsuits claiming that Avandia caused an increased risk of heart attack and other physical injury. I strongly believe that the defendants, who failed to provide adequate warnings regarding the risk, should be penalized.
When I came to know that if the claim is not filed before the statutory deadline, then the sufferers may be barred forever from making a claim and receiving any compensation, I advice them not to delay. There are some sites that are dedicated to help and support them.
